EC Drummond Poultry is the largest and fastest growing independent broiler business in the UK. We are looking to recruit a Graduate/Assistant Manager for the growing poultry broiler business covering Herefordshire, Yorkshire, East Anglia and the West Midlands. Working alongside the current management team you will learn processes and procedures of the businesses from day-to-day work on the farms through to management budgets.
The UK broiler industry is Highly efficient and un-subsidized, growing by 2-3% a year. Technical efficiency on farm is and has been the forefront of the industry since the 1950s. Technology constantly moving forward and changing market demands means the industry needs new starters to support the sectors growth.
This is a new role with the scope for expansion and self-development, although you will be given an area of specific responsibility within the poultry management team with the opportunity to move around and broaden your knowledge/training as part of a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation.
The position can be based in a location to suit you within our business. We will require the right candidate to be able to grow into the role. You will need to be a self-starter and be motivated to progress both the business and yourself forward.

This is very much a hands-on role with opportunity to progress within a fast paced and progressive poultry business. You may be required to assist in training and progression of farm managers and assistants, progressing them through induction processes. We envisage after a successful period of time been able to progress through the business. This role has been created to future proof our business going forward.
