Diversification
The business has diversified away from traditional arable farming into soft
fruit, turf, and poultry.
As a result of the changing nature of the agricultural industry and the major
impact that consumers and supermarkets have had in recent years. |
Fulfilling demand
In order to fulfil increased consumer demand, and meet the supermarkets exacting
quality, price and supply standards, we began to develop production and distribution
techniques that enable us not only to achieve and sustain growth, and our profitability
objectives, but also to minimise the harmful impact that intensive agricultural
methods and technologies must inevitably have on our ecosystem. |
The land we farm
Our business is the land that we farm. It covers in excess of 750 hectares spread
over several different farms. The soil type varies from river silt to clay loam
and this enables the arable crops, soft fruit and turf to
be successfully grown. We have additional farms through the West Midlands area
that house the poultry rearing units. |
