Welcome to E.C. Drummond & Son
We are a diverse agricultural business based in Ross-on-Wye in Herefordshire. The business is made up of four operating divisions which grow, harvest, distribute and transport our produce nationally.
Operating Divisions
Arable
Wheat, oil-seed rape and potatoes is grown, harvested, graded and delivered off the field or stored in our own dry storage facilities prior to distribution.
Soft fruit
We grow more than 3 million punnets of strawberries each year. Our fruit crop also includes raspberries and blackberries Our fruit is picked and packed by seasonal pickers and distributed to UK supermarkets.
Poultry
We rear more than 8 million broiler chickens annually under strict codes of practice on five farms throughout the counties of Herefordshire Worcestershire and Warwickshire
Turf
Under our trading name Greenblade, we grow 100 hectares of commercial and domestic turf which we distribute nationally together with topsoil, bark and mulch products.
